It’s Official! ECSB is now Ascend Bank.
This change reflects a shared commitment to building a stronger, more capable community bank—without losing the personalized service and deep local roots you’ve come to rely on. Below is key information to get started on September 2nd and beyond!
Important Things to Know:
This is when the full transition to Ascend Bank takes effect. At that time, you will see:

Tuesday, Sep 2 (8AM) | Access Banking Center available for your calls at 800-730-6603 |
Tuesday, Sep 2 (9AM) | Ascend Bank online and mobile banking will be ready to use. |
Tuesday, Sep 2 (9AM) | All branches reopen as Ascend Bank. New debit cards must be activated. |

A new website address: Ascend.bank
Debit Cards
You must now activate and use the new Ascend Bank Visa debit card(s) you received in August. Please destroy your old card(s). If you did not receive a new card to replace your ECSB one, please contact us. You must activate the new card within 30 days.
Digital Banking
- Log in to Ascend Online Banking at ascend.bank, or your Ascend Bank Mobile App, and follow the steps to set up your account.
- PLEASE MAKE SURE to use your existing ECSB Online Banking User IDs. These will stay the same for both personal and business clients.
- Online Banking Passwords are the last four digits of your SSN, for personal clients, and the last four digits of the business tax ID for business clients
- Make sure to set up any transfers or alerts you had in ECSB online banking as they will not carry over.
